Master plan for the urban art curatorship of Barcelona (PDCAU)
The first Master Plan of Urban Art in Spain
After winning the public competition published by Barcelona City Council to carry out the first Urban Art Curating Master Plan in Spain, a multidisciplinary team made up of curators, social researchers and social architects carried out transversal work to proceed with the development of an urban art project unprecedented.
The Plan (still in development of its final phase) is designed with the macro objective of re-signifying the territory with fewer economic resources and more immigration of the city, taking care of the different realities that coexist in it.
The identification of the territory through immersion processes (analysis-diagnosis) has allowed the development of a design that seeks to reduce the gaps in coexistence between the different communities, generate urban sutures and at the same time offer a tour of murals and installations that show the different avant-garde of contemporary urban art.
