Designing strategies to empower the city through urban culture.

Hospitalet is a metropolitan city attached to Barcelona with a very high population density, the highest in Spain. From their administration they are very clear that culture can be a key urban planning tool to convert a large part of their industrial territory into a great opportunity for urban suture and investment attraction for projects of a cultural nature. That is why they created a new model, a cultural district that would encourage the birth of new economic, recreational and cultural dynamics.

Together with the Difusor and Contorno Urbano entities, we designed a report of possibilities based on the current reality of the city and its creative potential.
