‘Mestizaje’ is the unique race
Project of historical re-signification that starts from the commemoration of the 500 years of the arrival of the Spaniards in Mexico. A dual project made up of two artistic teams, one from each country, two curators and four artists. The projects were also divided into two phases, one in each country. The first was at the Museum of Urban Art of Mexico (MARUM), in Querétaro, in which the artists intervened throughout the main hall. In the second phase, the team traveled to Penelles, Spain, where the Gar Gar Urban Art Festival is located. and intervened a wall between the four.
