Celebrating the beauty of old age

The Fundació Asil Hospital La Garriga is a center where the elderly live together permanently. When we received the commission to carry out an intervention on its façade, we believed that the best candidate was undoubtedly Mohamed L'gacham due to the enormous sensitivity with which he endows all of his work. An artist who is always searching through old photographic archives until he finds small everyday scenes that speak volumes about life. In this case, he selected a scene of a meal, the great moment that all the elderly wait for when their families pick them up to take them home to celebrate some event around a meal.
